Utilizing a mixed-methods approach, including descriptive statistics of research outputs and a survey of participating researchers, we evaluate the program’s effectiveness in enhancing research productivity, fostering collaboration, and promoting societal impact. The findings reveal improvements in research output and international visibility, with a quarter of publications appearing in international journals. The program facilitated interdisciplinary collaborations and agenda-driven networking, although challenges in sustaining these collaborations emerged. While the SSK contributed to
